Romans 9 - 11
In Romans 9–11, the apostle Paul reveals God’s sovereign, wise, and faithful plan of salvation for both Jews and Gentiles. Though Israel has stumbled, God’s promises have not failed. By His mercy, He preserves a remnant, brings the gospel to the nations, and will one day restore Israel. Romans 9 shows God’s sovereign mercy; Romans 10 reminds us of our responsibility to believe and proclaim the gospel; Romans 11 displays God’s long-term plan to unite all peoples through His mercy. As we consider God’s wisdom and faithfulness, we are called to humility, evangelism, and worship — for from Him, through Him, and to Him are all things.
