You Must Be Born From Above

Nicodemus knew the Scriptures and was respected for his faith. Yet Jesus told him, “You must be born again.” His religious accomplishments could not give him the life only God could provide. Through this nighttime conversation, Jesus points us to the work of the Holy Spirit and the Son who would be lifted up on the cross. As we continue Encounters with Jesus, we are invited to examine where we place our confidence and receive the new life only Jesus can give.
