Stand Firm: Under the Chief Shepherd 1 Peter 5:1–7

The church stands firm when its leaders shepherd faithfully, and its people humbly trust God.

What does a church need when the pressure increases? Peter calls leaders to shepherd faithfully, believers to serve one another humbly, and everyone to trust God with their burdens. The church belongs to Jesus, our Chief Shepherd, who laid down His life for His sheep. Because He cares for us, we can trust Him with our church, our future, and the burdens we carry.
