The Battle Within

The Battle Within Romans 7:24-25 with Pastor Brian Mitchell

The Law can reveal our sin, but only Jesus can deliver us from its power.

Romans 7 reminds us that every Christian faces a real internal battle. The struggle between who we were and who we are in Christ. The Law shows us our sin but cannot free us from it. Only Jesus can deliver us from the power of sin, and only the Holy Spirit can produce the righteousness the Law demands. Though the struggle is real, our hope is even more real: the One who saved us also empowers us. Our victory is found not in trying harder, but in trusting the Savior who lives within us.
