What a Savior 4-5-22

Good morning. For today’s thought I would like to share a powerful passage of scripture that tells us about Jesus. I know, we think we know all about Him. But please, take some moments to meditate on this passage. If you do so, you will find your heart opened and your spirit lifted in praise. I say that with full confidence because of its power. For this passage, from Colossians 1:15-20, is all about Jesus:

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

I could share some words, but why? There is more power and truth in this passage than any of us, or all of us, could ever ponder or process in a day, perhaps not in a lifetime until we see Him face to face and He holds us in His arms.
