Good morning. Today, I would like to share a few scriptures that I feel speak to us while we are in the midst of difficult situations.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
When we are in need, we find comfort from God. It is then our Christian joy to share that strengthening from His comfort with others who are in need.
God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
Whatever the trial, whatever the challenge, we are never alone. It is God’s promise that He will always remain with us in love and in power.
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1
If the burden of guilt is heavy and we don’t feel as though we deserve compassion or forgiveness, Christ wants us to remember that it is not, nor has it ever been, about what we deserve. It is only about His grace, His love, His presence, and that is assured.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
These are God’s promises to His children. They are thoughts for every day, thoughts to always remember.

Thank you for your prayers for our son Mike. He showed some moderate improvement yesterday, for which we give grateful praise!
