Good morning. God will not force Himself on you. There may be times when we wish that He would, but that is not His style. God desires to bless us, but God will never force His blessings upon us.
Imagine with me please, that these words come to us from the heart of God:
Let Me bless you today with My grace and My peace. Open your heart and mind to receive all that I have for you. Do not be ashamed of your emptiness. Instead, view that emptiness as the optimal condition for being filled with My presence, with My peace.
Every day I watch you get ready for what lies ahead. You choose clothing, you touch things up to look your best, you try hard to fool those you meet. You hope that your appearance is able to assure them that you are, for now at least, okay.
But we both know the truth. I can see you, the real you, the needs that you try to hide. Child, there is no need for pretense with Me. I love you. I love you every day, no matter what. I love you.
Rejoice in My knowing you. Rejoice in My loving you. Rejoice in My desire to bless you.
Share with Me what troubles you. Allow Me to carry the load that burdens you. Allow Me to transform you, bit by bit, until your weaknesses become strengths. Yes, I can, and I will, do this for you.
Please child, don’t come for a taste of blessing but instead become saturated in grace.
Please remember this truth from My Word: No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
Doesn’t it seem odd that God is waiting for our full permission to bless us? It is time to say, “yes Lord”, and “thank You!”
