Good morning. Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 With that truth as our certainty, let’s personalize these truths of faith:
1. I have received, and continue to receive, the fullness of Christ’s blessing which comes through the constant forgiveness of my sins. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7
2. I am, as a human being, created to be both of this world and of the next. I am a spiritual being, dearly loved by my Father in heaven. I am a child of God. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. John 1:12-13
3. I am in a place of peace with God. This is not of my doing but is an aspect of God’s continuous grace. This peace with God means that I no longer need to live in fear of judgement. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
4. I live today in the full assurance of eternal life. I know that this life will one day end, but I also know that the end of this life is my true beginning. Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:24-26
Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
With that truth, and perhaps these other truths of faith mentioned here guiding our thoughts today, let us rejoice in celebration of our victory through Jesus Christ our Lord!
