Sunday’s Best 4-24-22

Good morning. I hope that your plans for today include worship. Every first day of the week is a wonderful day set aside in the Lord, providing an opportunity for the nourishment and the expressions of joy that are fundamentally important to our Christian lives.

The following are some scriptures that share thoughts of worship. I pray that you will meditate on them and find encouragement to lift up your spirit in worship to the King of Kings!

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16

…be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord… Ephesians 5:18b-19

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe… Hebrews 12:28

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13:15

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” Luke 4:8

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; Psalm 95:6

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.Psalm 29:2

Worship well today and enjoy the wonder of drawing near to Him to rejoice in His love!
